The AI Tools in Procurement and Supply Chain workshop was created by the IPSM team in response to the high demand among procurement and supply chain professionals. We strive to keep up with the changes, as artificial intelligence technologies are developing very rapidly and the functionality is often transformed.

Our workshop focuses on three main parts:

  1. Real-life examples of where and how AI is used in procurement and supply chains.
    We will analyze the areas where AI is most useful.
  2. We will show how experienced procurers use AI for everyday tasks.
    You will see examples and exercises firsthand.
  3. You will receive instructions and life hacks on how to write prompts (queries to AI) to get the desired result.
    This will become your base for working with any AI tool.

Objectives of the workshop:

  • Show where and how AI is currently used in procurement and supply chain.
  • Teaching how to use AI tools.
  • Show examples of AI that are already being used by various companies for business needs in procurement and supply chain.
  • Arm them with recommendations and a list of AI tools.

Brief introduction. What are the approaches to AI in business?

Examples of use in different companies (foreign and domestic)

Writing prompts (queries to AI)

How our AI assistants work. The security of your data

What is a prompt or query to AI?

How to formulate queries to AI correctly to get the required result?

Exercises and practical training.

MODULE 3

Writing prompts (queries to AI)

Work on tasks and cases

List of cases (to be added): data analysis, strategy analysis, letter writing, preparation for negotiations, use in projects.

We will analyze certain rules of the game so that AI can help you efficiently.

MODULE 4

How to handle different tasks with the help of AI

Demonstration of examples of solving various tasks. Practical exercises and practice.
